The sweet world we live in as a kid
has changed so much as we grow old.
Our friends leave us
as our hearts grow cold.
We waste all our time away
as we pray for it all to stay.
I try and be so nice
but it doesn't matter today.
The way you treat me
leaves me broken.
But I still talk to you
just to leave my heart hopin'
Best Friends Forever
boy wasn't that a joke.
Best Friends For life
well if that didn't leave me broke.
So what are you running from?
What are you so scared of?
I've always been here
And you'll always have my love.
But this is whear it has to stop
this is where my life goes on.
This is GOOD BYE
my job here is done!

I wrote this to one of my old friends. As you can tell I'm fed up with this stuff. I could say a lot more than in this short poem. The person I wrote this toward knows who she is. So if you don't know... then it's probably not you. lol... If you read this thanks! I love you all!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
